Lamb Khorma
Serve with a side of steamed veggies, make sure it fills half your plate!
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp poppy seeds
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 14 oz diced lamb
- 2 tbsp Gourmet Garden Fresh Blends™ Indian
- 1 tbsp ginger Gourmet Garden
- 1 tbsp garlic Gourmet Garden
- 2/3 cup chicken stock
- 1/3 cup light coconut milk
- 1/4 cup green beans trimmed & chopped
- Sliced spring onions and rice to serve
Instructions
- Heat oil in a medium saucepan, cook poppy seeds and onion until onion softens.
- Add turmeric, lamb, Gourmet Garden Fresh Blends™ Indian, Gourmet Garden Garlic, Ginger and chicken stock to pan.
- Simmer 40 minutes or until lamb is tender and sauce has reduced. Stir in light coconut milk and green beans.
- Simmer curry until beans are just tender.
- Serve topped with spring onions on rice.
